2008

This is the 20th anniversary of the beer festival and we had glasses especially engraved to celebrate the event.

ALES

This year we selected 63 real ales. Three were on handpump and the remainder tapped directly from cask.

We had a barrel of Harvey’s Christmas ale - it had kept very well in Simon’s cellar at the White Horse in Maplehurst.

CIDERS

Ten ciders including three from our local brewery - John Batcheldor - J B Cider. This brewery is located close to the White Horse at Maplehurst. These two venues are where we take part in wassailing on the 5th January.

PERRIES

Three perries were available. They proved to be very popular.
